TRODAI KARATE
Northamptonshire - Kimbolton School, Raunds Manor School

Trodai Karate is a mixed martial art that draws elements from many styles to provide an all round and well balanced system of combat and fitness.

The word Trodai is an ancient Celtic name meaning “warrior” or “fighter”. The martial arts style was founded in 1982 by Sensei Robert James Burke (4th Dan). Sensei Burke practised and mastered various forms of martial arts, including boxing, traditional karate, kung fu kickboxing and tai chi chuan, before developing the Trodai style.
